MUNCIE, Ind. – Eastern Illinois men's tennis dropped the squad's season opener at Ball State on Saturday afternoon, 7-0, at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center.

Unfortunately, the Panther duo of David Constantinescu and Rui Silva registered the lone Eastern victory at No. 3 doubles.

EIU returns to action on Feb. 2 at Saint Louis, with the indoor event to be played across the Mississippi River in O'Fallon, Ill.
