INDIANAPOLIS -- Eastern Illinois men's and women's swimming squads completed the 11th House of Champions meet on Sunday, which was hosted by IUPUI in Indianapolis from Nov. 21-23.

The Panther gents finished seventh, out of nine competing squads, while the EIU ladies placed last versus nine other units.

Harris Thompson was lone EIU swimmer to earn a Top 5 finish over the course of the event, as he touched fourth in his 1650-Free race (16:17.31).  Unfortunately no other Panther individual swimmer managed to advance to a championship final race following their respective preliminary rounds.

Both Eastern units will have a month and a half to prepare for the winter portion of their 2015 slate to kick off on January 16, when the Panthers travel to Western Illinois to compete in a double-dual versus the Leathernecks and South Dakota.
